PAINTING W/ MUSIC (2017)
A collaborative project with Yann Seznec part of the British Council Connect ZA 2018 programme. An installation/performative piece to create permanent visual artifacts – a digital painting – with music. Using MIDI data from the music and generative algorithms, together the two will create a digital painting.
SDNA Fak’ugesi Residency (2016)
During Fak’ugesi Digital Festival, I got to work with SDNA Ltd and Connect ZA to bring a projection mapping installation to Braam that was part of Alight. Got to direct, shoot, cut and project on a BUILDING.
_cascade Mentor (2015)
The _cascade programme came back to Fak’ugesi in 2015 where I was the technical mentor for the participants. I helped one of the teams create an interactive video installation controlled with jumper cables. Above shows the initial prototypes using a Makey Makey alligator clips as a test.

During the _cascade programme I worked along with my team to create playful interactions for guests at the final Fak’ugesi Tetrafix party. I worked primarily on the interactive blinking eyes, projected inside a massive … air vent.
